The Kansas City Chiefs were once a well-loved underdog with a generational quarterback who were just trying to get over the hump.
Then, they became a dynasty.
With winning comes haters and fan fatigue, and America rooted against the Chiefs on their quest for three straight Super Bowl championships.
Appearing on the Rich Eisen Show, Seth Rollins was asked who in WWE was comparable to the Chiefs run.
"John Cena is the perfect example. He's a guy who recently turned heel for the first time in a long time, but John is the perfect example. He would win so much, they would just boo him. 'We want Cena.' 'Cena sucks,'" said Rollins.
Cena has now fully embraced the hate, turning against the audience that booed and cheered him for so many years. He has a chance to further cement his legacy at WrestleMania 41 when he goes for World Title victory number 17 against Cody Rhodes.
Seth Rollins is set to appear on Friday's WWE SmackDown. He is also set to guest host NFL Network's Good Morning Football next week.
