Rollins vs. Riddle is postponed.
Monday Night Raw on July 25 closed with Seth Rollins delivering a Curb Stomp to Matt Riddle while he was laying on the steel steps. Now, it has been revealed that that vicious attack has caused major changes to the SummerSlam card.
As first announced on WWE’s The Bump (and speculated by our Sean Ross Sapp on the Monday Night Raw post-show), Seth Rollins versus Riddle will no longer be happening at the event as Matt Riddle has been medically disqualified and the match has been indefinitely postponed. WWE reported that as a result of the attack, Riddle suffered a brachial plexus injury which has resulted in great weakness.
BREAKING: @WWERollins injured @SuperKingofBros with a vicious attack on #WWERaw that resulted in a brachial plexus injury (a stinger). Riddle is medically disqualified until full strength returns.

As of right now, Seth Rollins does not have an opponent for SummerSlam. If this sticks, this will make 2022 the first SummerSlam where Rollins will miss the main card since 2013 when he was in the corner of Dean Ambrose during the kick-off when Ambrose defended his WWE United States Championship against Rob Van Dam.
We will have more information on this as more information is available.
