In a digital exclusive posted to AEW's social media, Taylor addressed his attack and his upcoming match with Ospreay.

"The Billy Goat, Will Ospreay, against the baddest of all time, Shane Taylor. Will, you wanna challenge me to a scrap in Portland? Let me save you the time, dog. I accept. Scrapping is what I do. I've been knocking out grown men since I was 12 years old, son. They didn't crown me the king of the super juniors. I wasn't supposed to be the ace of New Japan. I became a god in Cleveland, Ohio, and a goat to a god is just a sacrifice. Rumble, bad man. Rumble."

Ospreay is currently building to an AEW International Championship challenge at AEW Double Or Nothing where he will face Roderick Strong. Strong featured on commentary during Ospreay's bout with Moriarty on Collision.
