Shane Taylor: I've Got A Lot Of Business To Take Care Of In ROH, I Want Every Championship

Shane Taylor wants all the gold in ROH.

Taylor was one of the top stars in the previous era of Ring of Honor; he won the ROH World Television Championship, and as the leader of Shane Taylor Promotions, he had a dominant reign as the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions. After ROH went on hiatus and was subsequently acquired by Tony Khan, Taylor was not parrt of the new era until he made his AEW debut on the December 2, 2022 episode of AEW Rampage. He and JD Griffey faced Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland at ROH Final Battle 2022. Since then, Taylor has wrestled on both AEW dark and ROH TV.

AEW Continental Classic 2024 Night Ten Recap

Speaking with Dr. Chris Featherstone on UnSKripted for WrestleBinge by Sportskeeda, Taylor made it clear that he has his sights set on all of the gold. He stated that he wants to regain the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship; Shane Taylor Promotions (Kaun O'Shay Edwards & Moses) lost the titles at ROH Final Battle 2021, where Edwards filled in for Taylor. The former champion noted that he is also aiming for a shot at the ROH World Television Championship, and he hopes to challenge for the world title. Beyond that, he teased that, as far as AEW is concerned, he's coming for what's his.

"I want every championship. I want everything. My main goals being in Ring of Honor are to get back the six-man championships that I didn’t lose, that my team lost, and that’s on me, as the captain. But I want the rematch for those. I want my TV Title rematch that I never got, and I also want my chance at the world championship. I’ve got a lot of business to take care of in ROH first, but once I compete all that, all the boys in AEW better understand that I’m the Baddest of All Time, and I’m coming for what’s mine," Taylor said.

Taylor went on to state that he is excited to be able to be a part of ROH going forward.

In an interview shortly after he arrived in the new ROH, Taylor reflected on his free agency. More information is available here.
