The go-home episode of Monday Night Raw before the 2020 SummerSlam event will be legendary.
After Randy Orton’s malice attack on Ric Flair oh, it was announced during a commercial break on the August 14th episode of SmackDown that Shawn Michaels will be appearing at the WWE Performance Center on the August 17 episode of SmackDown.
Shawn Michaels is no stranger to either Randy Orton or Ric Flair. During Shawn Michaels' initial comeback to WWE in the early 2000s, he was constantly crossing paths with both Randy Orton and Ric Flair as they were a part of Evolution and Shawn Michaels, at the time, was the sworn enemy of Triple H.
Fast forward to 2007, and Shawn Michaels was the first victim of Randy Orton's vicious punt to the head. This would keep Shawn Michaels on the shelf for many months. Sean would come back in time to retire Ric Flair at WrestleMania 24 in 2008, all the while both legends would develop mutual respect for one another.
With Randy Orton on a tear and rekindling his old Legend killer ways, we could very well see HBK get physical on Monday night.
Also announced for Monday, Rey Mysterio will return and confront Seth Rollins for his vicious kendo stick beatdown of Rey Mysterio's son, Dominik.
Rey Mysterio has not been seen since “losing his eye” at WWE Extreme Rules in a match against Seth Rollins. Now, Rollins is a little over a week away from facing Rey Mysterio's son in his first-ever match at SummerSlam.
Fightful will have live coverage of Monday Night Raw beginning Monday night at 8 p.m. Eastern.
