Shawn Spears is back in All Elite Wrestling.
Following a near five month absence from the company, Shawn Spears made his return to AEW on the October 12 edition of AEW Dynamite. Spears made his return by being introduced as FTR's partner in their upcoming six man tag bout against The Embassy (Brian Cage, Kaun & Toa Liona) on Friday's AEW Rampage.
Spears was last seen on AEW programming on the May 25, 2022 edition of Dynamite. On the show, he lost a Steel Cage match to Wardlow, which allowed Wardlow to go on to have his match with MJF at the Double Or Nothing pay-per-view.

In recent weeks, Spears had been teasing his return to All Elite Wrestling on Twitter, citing that he should challenge for a championship. When a fan told Spears that he forgot that he was in the promotion, Spears said that he forgot as well.
