Sheamus: I Miss Being In The Ring, But I Don't Know What The Story Is In My Future

It's been months since Sheamus last appeared in a WWE ring and the former WWE champion is still unsure of when he'll return.

The 41-year-old former King of the Ring winner spoke on when he could be returning the ring. After being out of the ring since April, Sheamus admitted in a recent Q & A in the Philippines that he doesn't know when he'll be back but he does miss it.

"I've not yet retired... I don't know what the story is in my future. I have no idea, I honestly don't. I just know that I like have some time off but I miss it. I do miss being in the ring," Sheamus said.

Sheamus was also asked about potentially gunning for the Intercontinental title, a belt that is on SmackDown held by Shinsuke Nakamura. Since Sheamus is still listed on WWE's website as a member of the SmackDown Live roster, Sheamus said he would love to potentially go and win that title after having won almost every other title there is to win in WWE.

"If I get back to the ring, that would be the first thing I would go after. As of now I am still listed as a SmackDown superstar and the title is on SmackDown. But as of now, I have no access to the title but its definitely the one I want," Sheamus said.

At WrestleMania 35 back in April, Sheamus and Cesaro lost a fatal four-way match to The Usos with the WWE SmackDown Tag Team titles on the line.
