The Smokin' Aces are back in Progress.
At Progress Chapter 169: The Devil On My Shoulder, Axel Tischer defended his Progress ATLAS Championship vs Mike D in a highly physical match. In the end, Tischer would score the victory, but his night was not over yet. Two masked men would hit the ring, attacking Tischer, revealing themselves to be the returning Nick Riley and Charlie Sterling, better known to Progress fans as The Smokin' Aces.

Sterling had been out of action since February, after suffering a knee injury that required surgery, while Riley had not been seen in Progress since March.
Following the attack, the men blamed Sanity for losing their tag titles, with Damo and Tischer being the current Progress tag team champions.
