Speedball is pissed.
After weeks of Kenny King being obsessed with "Speedball" Mike Bailey, Kenny King finally managed to push Mike to his breaking point on January 5.
King has been trying since the days of Honor No More to get even with Bailey because he believes he should have rightfully defeated Bailey for the IMPACT X-Division Championship.
Still, it was not until Kenny King beat up Speedball's students in their dojo that Bailey finally reached a level where he showed he wanted more than a wrestling match against King.

After watching Kenny beat up his students, Bailey challenged King to a Pit Fight.
As explained by Bailey, this would be a match where the ropes would be taken off of the ring, both men will tape up, and the match could only end by submission or knockout.

The bout was made official for the January 19 episode of IMPACT Wrestling.
