A former ROH champion returned to IMPACT on December 15
Jonathan Gresham is back in IMPACT Wrestling, returning on December 15 to confront Eddie Edwards. IMPACT appears to be Gresham's new home, as he announced that he signed a contract with Anthem Sports' wrestling organization.
"I'm back here in IMPACT Wrestling because I feel like I have unfinished business with Eddie Edwards," said Gresham to Gia Miller. "Now I know Eddie is trying to move on from this Honor No More stuff and I would too, to be honest, so I get it. But the last time I was here, I had a match scheduled with Eddie, a match that never happened, and like Eddie, I'm trying to move on, too but to be honest with you was very difficult for me to do that when I know I have to put this to bed with him. So at some point, Eddie is going to have to deal with me. I can say that with confidence because I just signed a contract here with IMPACT Wrestling today. So I'm not going anywhere."

Gresham is a former ROH Champion who defended the title on IMPACT television after Ring of Honor went on hiatus following ROH Final Battle 2021. Gresham last wrestled for IMPACT on the April 14 episode of IMPACT Wrestling when he defeated Rocky Romero.
Gresham was part of ROH under Tony Khan, but lost the ROH Championship to Claudio Castagnoli at ROH Death Before Dishonor and didn't return to the promotion. He reportedly asked for his release following the event.
Gresham has remained active on the independent scene throughout 2022.
