Two new segments have been added to AEW New Year's Smash night one.
Tony Khan announced that Sting will make an appearance on Wednesday's show. Sting aligned himself with Darby Allin on the December 30 episode of AEW Dynamite in Allin's battle against Team Taz.
Speaking of Allin, he will be part of the TNT Title Weigh-In on Wednesday opposite of Brian Cage. Allin will defend the AEW TNT Title on night two of New Year's Smash on January 13 against Cage.
