Sting will appear at GalaxyCon Richmond.
Sting competed in his last match at AEW Revolution on March 3. There, he and Darby Allin successfully defended the AEW World Tag Team Championship against the Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson). Sting retired after the match, bringing his legendary career, which spanned nearly four decades, to an end.
GalaxyCon Richmond announced that Sting will appear at the convention, which will be held at the Greater Richmond Convention Center in Richmond, Virginia, on Saturday, March 16. The official website notes that he will participate in Professional Photo Ops and sign autographs with fans. This will mark Sting's first public appearance since his last match.
Sting was a top star in WCW and TNA for several years at different points in his career. He won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship six times and the TNA World Heavyweight Championship four times, among other accolades. He had a brief run in WWE that ended when he was forced to retire due to injury in 2016. The WWE Hall of Famer signed with AEW in late 2020 and went undefeated during his time in the company.
Sting recently said that he was still on cloud nine after AEW Revolution, and he thanked Tony Khan. Check out his comments here.
