'Terrifier 3' Starring Chris Jericho Tops Box Office

Chris Jericho had an eventful weekend.

"Terrifier 3" was the number one film at the box office for the weekend of October 11 - 13, bringing in $18.9 million.

The film beat "The Wild Robot," which grossed $14 million. It was opening weekend for "Terrifier 3" while "The Wild Robot" has been in theaters since September 27th.

Chris Jericho is featured in "Terrifier 3." Tom Savini, who has done special effects work in wrestling, also has a credit in the film.

The film, which is unrated, released in 2,514 theaters. It could become the highest grossing unrated film of all-time. "Renaissance: A Film by Beyonce" currently holds that crown, grossing $33.9 million domestically.

Beyonce's film was much more family-friendly despite not being rated.

Chris Jericho had an eventful weekend, not only starring in "Terrifier 3," but he competed at AEW WrestleDream, challenging Mark Briscoe for the ROH World Championship.
