Tessa Blanchard calls out Sandman.
At the WrestleCade SuperShow on Nov. 30, the main event was scheduled to be Rosemary vs. Tessa Blanchard vs. Jordynne Grace vs. Taya Valkyrie, though Tessa was unable to compete due to an eye injury. She was replaced by Su Yung. Prior to the match, Jordynne Grace sent out a message on Twitter, revealing ECW legend The Sandman wasn't thrilled to see women in the main event.
Hey remember that time The Sandman came up to four women about to main event to tell us that women main eventing is “wrong” and “any male wrestler with any sort of experience would agree”?

Was this in 1998?
No, it was tonight. December 2019.
Too long for Twitter, but it’s worse than you’re probably even imagining https://t.co/L4Fjcs8P1o

Oh yeah, saying it loud enough for the whole locker room to hear and then asking other wrestlers if they agreed with him sure is private. https://t.co/Lzb7gATvyl

Before the match got underway, Tessa addressed the incident, calling out Sandman for his words.
"I was in the back earlier tonight and I had to listen to an old ECW guy that used to have a beer in his hand, talk about how 'women shouldn't be main eventing this event or any event.' Not because he didn't have faith in these women, but because he didn't have faith in you fans. It's 2020 and I think that's a crock of horseshit. The women in this ring right now, are some of the best women's wrestlers -- no, they are some of the best wrestlers in this business. You're looking at women who have traveled the world and held notable titles in notable companies all over the entire world. I can't think of anybody better to main event," said Tessa in a promo in front of the live crowd.
Tessa is the baddest bitch I know https://t.co/D0KYmTn7u0

While Sandman may not agree with women main eventing shows, Chris Jericho and Will Ospreay had their back.
I don’t agree! https://t.co/XfOpgsMHRB

Most of the women wrestlers are pulling off more innovating & exciting stuff then the ever before.
Can’t tell you the amount of times I go watch a Stardom match & want to retire cos their matches are INSANE!
Let’s not interfere with progress, everyone keep killing it https://t.co/dbHTDSTZuG
