La Mera Mera arrives to CMLL.
On Friday, February 16, 2024, CMLL hosted a new "Viernes Espectacular" episode from the mythical Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico. Although there was great In-ring action, it was in the crowd where the fans saw the biggest surprise of the night.
Before the CMLL World Women's Tag Team Championship Match between Tessa Blanchard & Lady Frost against the champions, Stephanie Vaquer & Zeuxis, CMLL revealed that in the crowd was none other than former AEW Women's World Champion Thunder Rosa representing All Elite Wrestling.
Although she did not compete, she was spotted in the crowd as a viewer and was introduced as a representative for CMLL's new international partner, All Elite Wrestling. This was La Mera Mera's first ever Television appearance for the Mexican promotion. Thunder Rosa also had a live stream on her Instagram promoting her appearance during the show.
