Tommy Billington says that Bret Hart watched his match against Dax Harwood.
Despite only having two matches with the company, Tommy Billington has established himself as a rising star in AEW after turning in memorable performances against Dax Harwood and Konosuke Takeshita.
As it turns out, both Billington and Harwood got to sit down with Bret Hart to watch the AEW Collision match back after it happened.
“He watched it and he just thought it was so fantastic." Billington said in a recent interview with the AEW Unrestricted podcast. "He couldn’t be more prouder, especially of me and of Dax, he was actually really proud of Dax for giving such a good effort, for the both of us for doing such a good job. I trust Bret’s words above anybody’s, so having him look it over and give me pointers here and there, I can’t ask for anything better to be honest.”
