Tommy Seigler passes away at age 84.
The news of Seigler's passing was first made public by Anderson County in South Carolina on July 25, 2023. Seigler lived in the county and served as the head of security for the Anderson County Historic Courthouse from 2001 until late 2019, when he retired from that position. Seigler's cause of death is currently unknown.
Seigler is most known for his time with the National Wrestling Alliance and in Jim Crockett Promotions, where he held titles like NWA Florida Television Championship and the NWA Southeastern Television Championship. Throughout his historic career, Seigler faced off against the likes of Roddy Piper, Gino Hernandez, Ric Flair, Alex Perez, Ron Bass, Mr. Fuji, and Greg Valentine
Seigler was forced to retire from the wrestling industry in 1978 after rupturing multiple disks in his lower back during a match with The Iron Sheik.
