Tony Khan Gifts Clemson With Custom AEW World Title After Win In The TaxSlayer Bowl

Clemson came to slay taxes, but they walked out with the AEW World Championship.

On Friday, December 29, the Clemson Tigers were able to narrowly escape with a win over the Kentucky Wildcats in the TaxSlayer Bowl with a score of 38-35. The game took place at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida, the home of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

After the win, Clemson was presented with a custom AEW World Championship by Tony Khan. AEW's social media shared pictures of Dabo Swinney and the team holding the title.

Clemson is the first sports team to receive a custom AEW World Championship belt. It is currently unknown if more teams will receive custom belts in the future.
