Two special matches have been added to WrestleMania 39.
On the March 17, 2023, episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown, WWE announced that two special "WrestleMania Showcase" Fatal 4-Way Tag Team bouts had been added to the card of WrestleMania 39. There will be one women's tag bout and one tag team match for the men.
On March 17, Raquel Rodriguez & Liv Morgan became the first team to qualify for the women's tag team match for the show. Rodriguez & Morgan defeated Emma and Tegan Nox to qualify.
It is unknown when qualifying matches will begin for the men's tag teams nor if these WrestleMania showcase matches will have any stakes attached.
