Two Men's Teams, One Women's Team Advance In Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic On NXT

Three more teams, two from the men's side and one from the women's, have advanced in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. 

On Wednesday's NXT, MSK (Nash Carter & Wes Lee) and Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake and Zack Gibson) advanced to the semifinals with respective victories in their quarterfinal bouts.

Over in the women's tournament, Raquel Gonzalez & Dakota Kai advanced to the semifinals.

In the opening match, MSK picked up a victory over Killian Dain & Drake Maverick in their quarterfinal matchup. MSK scored the pinfall with a lifted blockbuster on Maverick. With this victory, MSK will face the winners of Lucha House Party (Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado) vs. Legado del Fantasma (Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza) in the semifinals. 

In the other men's quarterfinal bout, Grizzled Young Veterans knocked off Leon Ruff & Kushida in the semifinals, picking up the win with Ticket To Mayhem on Ruff. The duo of Drake & Gibson will meet the winners of Undisputed Era (Adam Cole & Roderick Strong) vs Tommaso Ciampa & Timothy Thatcher in the semifinals. 

In the women's tournament, Gonzalez & Kai ran through Aliyah and Jessi Kamea to advance to the semi-finals. The finish saw Gonzalez hit a chokebomb on Kamea for the win. Gonzalez & Kai will face Kacy Catanzaro & Kayden Carter in the semifinals on the February 3 episode of NXT.
