Unagi Sayaka Announced for 2024 CMLL Women's International Grand Prix

A new entrant to the Women's Gran Prix has been announced.

On the 8/28 edition of CMLL Informa, CMLL announced a new entrant to the 2024 Women's International Gran Prix.With Tessa Blanchard and Lluvia already announced, a new name is set to participate in the 10/25 event inside the mythical Arena Mexico.

CMLL announced that current CMLL-Japan Women's Champion Unagi Sayaka was announced for the event, being a part of Team World alongside the already announced Blanchard. Despite holding the CMLL-Japan Title, this will be Sayaka's debut for the promotion and her Arena Mexico debut.

Sayaka has been a freelancer across multiple promotions in Japan, most recently competing for Ice Ribbon on 8/24 in a losing effort alongside the legendary Mio Shirai against the Ice Ribbon International Ribbon Tag Team Champions Hamuko Hoshi & Makoto for the titles.
