Undertaker talks about getting up close and personal with Goldust in 1996.
The Undertaker never spent too much time challenging for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Still, he did take on Goldust at WWE In Your House: Beware of Dog in a Casket Match for the title that eluded him his entire career.
In the build-up to the match, Undertaker is assaulted by both Mankind and Goldust in a segment that would end with the androgynous Goldust rubbing The Undertaker's prone body and even grabbing his crotch.
Speaking about this segment on a Q&A episode of his Six Feet Under podcast on Patreon, Mark Calaway stated that during the segment, he was simply hoping he didn't get erect.
"Alright, you asked the question. I mean, I was just hoping I didn't become erect," 'Taker said with a laugh. "He does have soft hands for a big man... That would have destroyed me. I would have been done. I didn't like it."
Asked if he had any idea "it was coming," Undertaker quipped, "I wasn't even close."
When it was stated that the "Streak" level members of his Patreon really "get the juice," The Undertaker fired back that it was almost Goldust that got the juice.
Ultimately, Goldust would defeat Undertaker and retain the Intercontinental Championship thanks to more help from Mankind.
Recently, Undertaker stated that he believes Goldust/Dustin Rhodes deserves a spot in the WWE Hall of Fame. Dustin still wrestles for AEW. He recently praised MJF's charter work. Read more here.
