Not everyone loves that The Undertaker has opened up.
For decades, The Undertaker only spoke when he was on television, and as a "Deadman," he rarely spoke as one would in a normal life. He was an otherworldly figure, after all. Leading into his retirement in 2020, Undertaker began opening up by doing the interview circuit, and took it to a whole new level with the 1 Deadman Show and now his Six Feet Under podcast.
While many fans are happy to hear the Undertaker reflect on his Hall of Fame career, others liked that he protected his character.
"There are people out there that are still mad at me. There are a ton of people that love the fact that I'm talking and doing the 1 Deadman Show and Six Feet Under, but there are still a large group of people that are really upset with me because I don't talk about taking souls and I've kind of opened up, to the point where people have accused me of ruining their childhood," Undertaker said on Six Feet Under.
Undertaker started to get away from his Deadman persona in 2000 when he debuted the American Badass character.
Elsewhere during the interview, Undertaker discussed The Streak in relation to the American Badass character. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
