WALTER has surpassed another milestone as NXT UK Champion.
WALTER has been NXT UK Champion for 800 days. In that time, he has defended the gold against Rampage Brown, Joe Coffey, Ilja Dragunov, Tommaso Ciampa, and more. He has also had the opportunity to represent NXT at WWE Survivor Series, losing to Drew McIntyre in the process.
WALTER is the longest-reigning WWE champion of any brand in the modern era for a short length of time, WALTER held onto the Gold without making any defenses because the global pandemic had shut down NXT UK from the spring of 2020 until September when they partnered with BT Sport Studio end London to continue producing content.
On the most recent episode of NXT UK, WALTER delivered a statement to the brand where he promised to continue being dedicated and making sure that every time he steps into the ring everybody knows that the mat is sacred.

Also on the most recent episode, Kay Lee Ray lost the NXT UK Women's Championship after holding on to that title for a historic 649 days.
