Much is made by fans about AEW ratings every Thursday when the Dynamite viewership numbers are released online.
While fans and others spend time opining on the numbers and what they think they mean, Warner Brothers Discovery aren't concerned according to Beyond The Bell's Andrew Zarian.
"I've been hearing very positive stuff from WBD. I brought up the ratings and the internet chatter to them and they don't care. It doesn't even resonate. The messaging on the internet is not even resonating with these people and they're in key positions there," he said.
AEW and WBD announced a multi-year rights deal in October 2024 that will keep AEW programming on WBD networks and platforms for the foreseeable future.
AEW programming has aired on TNT or TBS since October 2019 with the debut episode of AEW Dynamite.
Elsewhere during the podcast, Zarian revealed WBD is considering a multi-hour block of AEW programming during the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs. Fans can learn more here.
