Wheeler Yuta has chosen sides.
Wheeler Yuta's loyalty has been unclear since AEW All Out, where Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and PAC turned on AEW World Champion Bryan Danielson and attacked him. Yuta agreed to defend the AEW World Trios Championship with Castagnoli and PAC at AEW Collision: Grand Slam, where they defeated Private Party (Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen) and Komander.
On the October 2nd episode of AEW Dynamite, Danielson faced AEW Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada in a Title vs. Title match. In the closing moments, Castagnoli and PAC appeared at ringside. The distraction cost Okada, as Danielson countered a Rainmaker and pinned him. When Castagnoli and Yuta grabbed Danielson after the match and held him so Jon Moxley could attack him, Yuta made the save.
Yuta said that Castagnoli and PAC would have to go through him to get to Danielson. He challenged them to face him, and Danielson specifically dared the duo to face him and Yuta on the October 8th episode of AEW Dynamite.
