In a new video posted by WIRED, John Cena and Awkwafina answered the web's most-searched questions. In one highlight, Cena answered the question, "Who Is John Cena In Suicide Squad?"
"I am lucky enough to play a superhero called Peacemaker. Government name is Chris Smith. He is a highly trained assassin. He has been trained since a young age to be skilled in the arts of war," Cena said.
Cena reprised Peacemaker for a spin-off series about the character. The "Peacemaker" MAX series premiered in January 2022. The finale of the eight-episode season aired on February 17, 2022.
Per Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Cena is set to film the second season from June through November 2024. There is currently no word on when the second season will premiere.
