Will Ospreay has been given the advice from a handful of veterans to tone down his in-ring style, or at least save his big stuff for the big matches.
Chris Jericho and MVP have both said publicly that they have told Ospreay about slowing things down a bit.
Asked by Chris Van Vleit on Insight if he feels he's slowing down his style, Ospreay replied, "Yeah, for sure. I want people to digest what they're seeing, because I still do those stupid bumps, like the tombstone off the apron on the stairs. That was kind of silly. Yeah, it looked great and everyone reacted, which it happens. Now, I plan those spots where I go, 'And this is where everyone fucking complains about AEW.' I do it because personally, I just want to do it. I'm not kicking out and firing up like that. I'm rolling my shoulder off. People are popping off about it. Sweet, you're talking about it."
Ospreay is set to face Kyle Fletcher in a cage match at AEW Revolution.
Elsewhere during the interview, Ospreay was asked about CM Punk. You can read what he said by clicking here.
