William Regal was CURSED!
One act that was missing from the April 13 episode of AEW Dynamite was the Blackpool Combat Club. They are slated to be in action on Friday, April 15 on Rampage from Garland, Texas. However, the crowd a New Orleans, Louisiana would see the Blackpool Combat Club after the show as they all joined in the ring to introduce Ricky Starks to his hometown crowd. However, it was Danhausen that came out instead.
Wheeler knew Danhausen from his days in The Best Friends. Jon Moxley simply said “Who the fuck is this?” and made Wheeler Yuta do 10 push-ups for even knowing who he was.
Danhausen happened to fancy that suit that William Regal was wearing and because William Regal did not give it to him, Danhausen cursed him. Unlike HOOK, William Regal was vulnerable to the curse and immediately began stumbling around the ring until Bryan Danielson asked Danhausen to uncurse his lordship at which point William Regal looks frightened before Danhausen shook his hand.
HOOK would also show up but did not even bother going to the ring but Ricky Starks made his way down the ramp and they were all interrupted again by The Acclaimed.
Max and Anthony were more than happy to tell the world that they were in the highest rated segment on April 6, which was Max getting beaten by Samoa Joe, and that meant that they were more popular than anybody in the ring.
Everyone came together and beat up Max Caster while Anthony Bowens watched on and the crowd was sent home happy.
William Regal may never get over being cursed, though. thankfully, Danhausen is very nice and didn't keep him that way.
