Bryan Danielson's comments sparked some buzz in the wrestling world.
Bryan Danielson has not wrestled since he lost to Jon Moxley at AEW WrestleDream in October 2024. Heading into the match, he had discussed how he was dealing with neck issues, and he said that he would retire from full-time competition once he lost the AEW World Championship. Since then, there have been few firm updates about his future.
In an interview with Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp in December 2024, Danielson commented on his health and noted that his health was his priority. He also said that the odds of him wrestling again were probably 50-50 at that point.
Several members of the wrestling world reacted to Danielson's comments. Mike Bailey expressed his hope that Danielson would compete again, and Daniel Makabe teased his interest in facing him. Eric Koenreich wrote that it was a matter of if, not when. SoCal Val responded as well.

It’s not a matter of “if”. It’s “when”. https://t.co/TTIt233yj2
