Edge, Sheamus, Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, and more will all be looking to make history.
WWE is looking to crown a new World Heavyweight Champion at WWE Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia.
Even though the championship will be exclusive to Monday Night Raw, WWE had previously announced that the tournament will occur across Raw and SmackDown.
With the tournament ready to begin on Monday, May 8, WWE has announced the 12 competitors that will be competing from Raw and SmackDown, featuring multiple former World Champions.
Seth Rollins, The Miz, Shinsuke Nakamura, Cody Rhodes, Finn Balor, and Damian Priest will be the representatives from Raw in this tournament. Meanwhile, Edge, Rey Mysterio, Sheamus, Bobby Lashley, Austin Theory, and AJ Styles will enter the tournament from the blue brand.

All six competitors from each brand will compete in two separate Triple Threat matches on their respective brands. The winners of those Triple Threat matches will face each other one-on-one. The winner of those two one-on-one matches will meet each other in the tournament finals at WWE Night of Champions on May 27.
