Kavita Devi has been released by WWE.
WWE has released its first Indian-born female Superstar on Wednesday, May 19, 2021. Kavita Devi first appeared in WWE during the first-ever Mae Young Classic.
Her 2017 match against Dakota Kai in the tournament has over 62 million views on YouTube. Also, Devi had returned to India, where she's been most of the year. She'd originally been planned for Superstar Spectacle, but couldn't make it back over in time.

She also became the first Indian woman to be featured on WrestleMania, making an appearance during the Wrestlemania Women's Battle Royal in 2018.
She last wrestled for WWE in July of 2019 and suffered a torn ACL along her journey.
