WWE Releases Peyton Royce, Peyton Posts Statement

Peyton Royce has been released by WWE.

WWE announced they have come to terms on the release of Peyton Royce.

Royce signed with WWE in April 2015, making her television debut in NXT in May 2015. She would align with Billie Kay in October 2016 in NXT. The two would make their main roster debut in April 2018 as The IIconics.

Kay & Royce would win the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania 35.

The duo were forced to split after losing to The Riott Squad (Liv Morgan & Ruby Riott) on the August 31, 2020 episode of WWE Raw. Royce would enter into a partnership with Lacey Evans shortly after The IIconics split, but the act was dropped by Evans announced her pregnancy in February.

She cut an impassioned promo on the March 8 episode of WWE Raw Talk. Royce last wrestled on the March 22 episode of WWE Raw, losing to Asuka.
