WWE Reportedly Planning Return To The Ring For Kurt Angle

Looks like the new Hall of Famer might be getting back in the ring after all.

According to a report from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE does actually have plans for 2017 Hall of Fame inductee Kurt Angle to do at least some wrestling for the company, and sooner rather than later. Angle will be inducted into the Hall of Fame on the Friday of WrestleMania weekend in 7 weeks, but he's got no plans for Sunday. It is possible that he could have a match at Mania, but there is no word if anything is planned. Angle would still have to pass a physical and the he would almost certainly be used on a very limited basis.

WWE Files To Trademark 'RKO'

Since the news broke of him returning to the company after more than a decade, Angle has been fielding "Are You Going To Wrestle" questions left and right. He's been non-committal so far, but never issued any outright denials.

He said this to Forbes:

"I wouldn't be surprised if I do a few more matches somewhere down the line, but they haven't talked about it so it's not official. This Hall of Fame thing is just the beginning, so let's see how it goes and we'll go from there."

Angle, who most recently wrestled at a WCPW event in England over the past weekend, has said that he'd love to face AJ Styles one more time, and the SmackDown superstar is currently without a program for Mania.
