WWE is taking a look at referee John Cone after his actions on this week's episode of Raw.
The referee did a fast count at the end of the Raw Women's Title match between Asuka and Nia Jax, giving Asuka the win. This came after Jax shoved Cone to the mat and as Cone was about to disqualify her, Asuka pinned her opponent leading to the fast three-count.
WWE is reviewing the conduct of Nia Jax and referee John Cone in the aftermath of the Raw Women’s Title Match this past Monday, WWE.com has learned.
At the match’s conclusion, Jax shoved Cone to the mat for refusing to count a pin while Asuka’s foot was under the rope. As Cone went to signal for a disqualification, Asuka rolled up Jax, and Cone appeared to issue a fast three-count, awarding the victory to Asuka.

The match was a rematch of their title bout at Backlash, which did not see a definitive winner as it ended in a double countout.
