Zack Sabre Jr is looking for one more match against Bryan Danielson.
Over the past year, Bryan Danielson and Zack Sabre Jr are 1-1 against each other with Danielson winning at AEW WrestleDream 2023 and ZSJ scoring a victory at The New Beginning In Osaka 2024.
Danielson and ZSJ were both victorious at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, and ZSJ is looking to settle the score.
"We were talking about the North Pole," he replied when asked by FIghtful's Kate at the post-show scrum about a venue for a third match. "What's the weather like this time of year? Our first match was in England, we had a rematch in Germany that is somewhat forgotten. Then we had the match at WrestleDream, and in Japan. I know that Bryan says he is winding it down, but he's a pervert...in a wrestling sense. That's not against his character. We at least have to have one more match in England. Bryan, I've said this countless times, when I wrestled Bryan the first time in England, in a pub in front of 50 people, they had no idea who I was. He gave me so much and it kick started my entire career. I can never repay the debt to him outside of trying to break all of his limbs. I've yet to tap out Bryan Danielson. We have to have at least one more match where he lets me try."
Danielson has said this will be his last full-time year in wrestling.
