The Young Bucks Say They Have Tried To Break Up Bullet Club

The Young Bucks say Bullet Club is still together because of merchandising.

The Bullet Club has been active in New Japan Pro Wrestling since 2013. Since then the stable has traveled to wrestling promotions around the world and included members like AJ Styles, Finn Balor, Cody Rhodes, and Adam Cole. On The Art of Wrestling podcast, Bullet Club members Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, and Kenny Omega talked with host Colt Cabana about their time as Bullet Club and The Elite. Nick Jackson said the group has had so many members it has been hard to find a group of wrestlers with which they can feud.

"We need someone to work with, we need a story. We've been thinking of people but the build would have to be very long," said Nick Jackson.

Matt Jackson observed the running joke about him trying to recruit newly minted independent stars to Bullet Club. He admitted eventually Bullet Club might run into a problem with too many members.

"We should probably let these guys wrestle us instead of join us," said Matt Jackson. "Isn't that why the NWO had to turn on each other and then they formed the Wolfpack? They had to wrestle each other," said Matt Jackson.

Then both of the Jackson brothers revealed they had tried to break up the Bullet Club before for storyline reasons but were met with pushback.

"Trust us, the three of us have said 'let's split' but no one will allow that because the merchandise is too big. So that's the reason why it has not split and probably won't split up," said Nick Jackson

Also during the interview, the three members of Bullet Club discussed their recent "invasion" of Raw which was featured on their YouTube show Being the Elite. Kenny Omega also discussed his three matches against Kazuchika Okada.
