A lightweight division attraction will headline the upcoming Bellator Dublin card as Patricky Pitbull is in action against Peter Queally.
The main event encounter was announced today during the Bellator Spring/Summer 2020 Press Conference.
Pitbull (23-9-0) has won seven of his last eight bouts, with notable wins coming over Josh Thomson, Ben Henderson, Derek Campos, Roger Huerta and Tatsuya Kawajiri. Pitbull made it to the finals of the Rizin Lightweight World Grand Prix, but fell to Tofiq Musaev in the finals. Pitbull is competing in Bellator MMA for the first time in over a year, as his last promotional appearance came in the main event of Bellator Europe 1 in February of 2019.
Queally (12-5-1) has won just one of two under the Bellator MMA banner, with that lone win coming over Ryan Scope at Bellator 227. Queally has previously challenged for the Fight Nights Global Lightweight Title, fighting then champion Kuat Khamitov to a draw at FNG 80. Queally has competed eighteen times as a professional MMA fighter and fifteen of those contests went the distance.
Bellator Dublin takes place on Saturday, October 3 from the 3 Arena in Dublin, Ireland with Patricky Pitbull and Peter Queally headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on the Bellator App.
