A welterweight division attraction has been added to the upcoming UFC 245 card as Geoff Neal is going to be in action against Mike Perry.
Ariel Helwani of ESPN first reported the bout, but its position on the card isn’t known at this time.
Neal (12-2-0) is undefeated thus far under the UFC banner, having defeated Brian Camozzi, Frank Camacho, Belal Muhammad and Niko Price. Neal also competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 3, defeating Chase Waldon by first round TKO. Neal has competed fourteen times as a professional MMA fighter and just three of those bouts went the distance.
Perry (13-5-0) has won just two of his last six encounters in the UFC, with those wins coming over Paul Felder and Alex Oliveira. Perry is undefeated when competing on UFC pay-per-view events, picking up victories at UFC 202, UFC 204 and UFC 226. Perry has picked up thirteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and eleven of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
UFC 245 takes place on Saturday, December 14 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
