Rosemary credits a current WWE champion for the NXT brand for helping her get a chance with Impact Wrestling.
Appearing on the Killing The Town podcast with Lance Storm and Cyrus, Rosemary explained how Eric Young recommended her to TNA management in January of 2016 when the Decay group first was coming together. Rosemary knew both Young and Crazzy Steve through her trainer, Scott D'Amore, who is currently part of Impact management and worked with Young in the Team Canada faction for TNA for several years.
"Eric Young, when Impact was starting the Decay gimmick and they needed a female member," Rosemary said. "I know there were a couple of other people they were looking at and Eric was like, 'I want you to look at this girl' because I was already doing the dark demon gimmick for at least four months before that in SMASH. They brought me in to take a look at me, they gave me the ball and I haven't dropped it yet."
Rosemary is approaching her second anniversary as part of the Impact roster, remaining a stable presence on the program despite a glut of roster turnover and changes in both management and ownership. She even moved to Orlando -- a welcome change for her from her hometown in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
"I love it. There's no snow anywhere!" she said. "Last winter I literally had to dig my car out of 6 inches of snow for two weeks."
Rosemary's appearance on Killing The Town marked her first media interview since the incident with Sexy Star in Mexico.
