Abadon has set her sights on the AEW Women's Championship.
Hikaru Shida picked up a hard-fought victory over Anna Jay on Wednesday's AEW Dynamite, retaining her AEW Women's Championship in the process. Following the bout, as Shida was making her way back up the ramp, Abadon returned and scared Shida.
Abadon marked the AEW Women's Championship, signifying her next target.

Abadon was scheduled to face Tay Conti on the October 28 episode of AEW Dynamite, but the bout was pulled as Abadon suffered an injury during the match, which was taped on October 22. She reportedly took an elbow to the throat, leaving her with shortness of breath. She was taken to the hospital for further evaluation following the incident.
