Forget the New World Order, the Mega Powers, and DX, wrestling fans will never forget the day that the Bang Bang Scissor Gang was formed.
On the January 20 episode of AEW Saturday Collision, Bullet Club Gold's Jay White, Austin Gunn, and Colten Gunn arrived on the scene to celebrate their victory over the Mogul Embassy on January 17's AEW Dynamite where they became the brand new Ring of Honor Six-Man Tag Team Champions.
They were later interrupted by The Acclaimed's "Daddy Ass" Billy Gunn, Anthony Bowens, and Max Caster. For weeks The Acclaimed had been trying to get The Bang Bang Gang to see the benefit of becoming a supergroup and this time, they would not leave the ring until they got their answer.
The St Louis crowd led chants of "Bang Bang Scissor Gang" as (finger) guns and (finger) scissors were held high in the air and the two groups came together.

The catalyst for this supergroup was the formation of The Undisputed Kingdom (Adam Cole, Wardlow, Roderick Strong, Matt Taven & Mike Bennett) which had attacked Jay White and The Acclaimed in the weeks leading up to the reveal of Adam Cole's master plan at AEW Worlds End.
