Bayley feels a bit homesick. She misses her former home, NXT, very much.
In a video on WWE's YouTube channel (some countries, including the United States, are blocked from viewing), the former NXT Women's Champion talked about her time in NXT and what she misses about it, which is apparently everything.
"It's just bitter sweet. I'm really happy to be with WWE but it was a family back there. The family that I grew up with. It has a different feel to the crowd. We all grew together and we all built NXT together," Bayley said.
Bayley, real name Pamela Martinez, elaborated on the family nature of NXT. The 27 year old Newark, California native talked about how a variety of factors contributed to the NXT feel and family dynamic.
"It wasn't just the fans or it wasn't just the roster. It was all of us putting together, their giving their heart and soul when cheering and we were giving our heart and soul when we were performing in the ring. So this together made magic and it displayed on TV so that people at home could feel that. I just miss everything. NXT is so special," Bayley said.
Bayley made her main roster debut August 22 on RAW. In her debut for the red brand, Bayley wrestled Dana Brooke and defeated her in a singles match. She was Sasha Banks surprise tag team partner at this year's Battleground pay per view (prior to her official RAW debut), as Banks and Bayley faced Charlotte and Dana Brooke.
