Becky Lynch Believes The 2019 Women's Royal Rumble Was A Better Overall Match Than Men's Rumble

Becky Lynch explains why she believes it was a better match.

"The Man" Becky Lynch is riding the wave of momentum and fan support that she has heading into WrestleMania 35. She was removed from her RAW Women's Title match against Ronda Rousey at "The Show Of Shows" and replaced by Charlotte Flair by the power of Vince McMahon. Becky is set to return to RAW tonight per PWInsider and "The Man" wants nothing more than to be in the main event of WrestleMania.

Becky Lynch recently chatted with 'Sun Sport' and commented on the 2019 Women's Royal Rumble match that she was the winner of and stated that the women's match was better than the men's match and here's her reasoning for believing that:

“I’ll say it like it is, the women’s Rumble was better. We’ve got incredible female athletes at the moment with wonderful characters that people can get invested in and care about. Everybody’s trying to step it up, especially since The Man came around, and I love that – I love the competition." Becky continued, "Current and future, absolutely" [Becky said about only present and future stars competing in the women's Rumble match].

Lynch said that what the women's division has going on is organic and that is what she has wanted all along. She added that she did not want anything given to them and wanted this opportunity to be earned and undeniable.

“I didn’t want anything given to us on a token gesture basis. I wanted it to be earned and to be undeniable. I wanted it to be something the fans wanted – not something the fans were told that they wanted. I wanted it to be organic and that’s what we’re having right now. That makes me more proud than anything." She said.

As mentioned in this article, "The Man" is reportedly set to appear on tonight's RAW and to get a preview of tonight's show, head over to WWE.com.
