Speaking to Connor Casey of ComicBook, Baker provided an update on the injury.

"Unfortunately it's getting worse," Baker said. "Now it's like a neck and a back problem. But it's manageable. I'm tough, so I'll always find ways to work. My championship reign was with a broken wrist. So I'll figure it out one way or another. You've got to work your way around it, sometimes maybe trick your body into thinking, 'Eh, it doesn't really hurt that bad.'"

Baker has only wrestled four times in 2023, and only one singles match. Her last televised match took place on the February 15 episode of AEW Dynamite when she faced Toni Storm and Ruby Soho in a three-way bout.

Baker has remained on television as part of the Outcasts vs. Originals feud. She helped close Wednesday's AEW Dynamite, celebrating with her boyfriend Adam Cole, who was wrestling for the first time since June 2022 due to concussion issues, after his victory.
