Carlito pulls out of multiple upcoming independent wrestling bookings.
After it was reported by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio that former WWE Superstar Carlito was pulling out of an upcoming booking for Great North Wrestling, Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp reported on Twitter that the former WWE Intercontinental Champion was pulling out of multiple upcoming bookings and not just the ones promoted by Hannibal.
As of this writing, Carlito is still booked for AIW Over The Line on June 17. This booking, however, is solely in an appearance capacity and not a wrestling one.
We're told Carlito has pulled from multiple upcoming indie dates, not just the Hannibal-associated events

Carlito recently appeared at WWE Backlash, helping Bad Bunny defeat Damian Priest in a San Juan Street Fight on Carlito's native island of Puerto Rico. A former WWE Tag Team, Intercontinental, and United States titleholder, Carlito had previously returned at the 2021 Royal Rumble event, which was held inside the WWE ThunderDome in the midst of the world pandemic, but at Backlash, a very enthusiastic crowd in Puerto Rico gave him a very warm welcome.
Following his appearance, the Ruthless Aggression Era Superstar joked that his booking rate had gone up.
Footage of Carlito's appearance at WWE Backlash 2023 quickly racked up over three million views on social media. Learn more here.
