Carmelo Hayes talks John Cena.
By the end of 2025, the in ring career of John Cena will come to an end over 20 years after he made his WWE main roster debut vs Kurt Angle. One man who knows Cena all too well in recent history is Carmelo Hayes, who had interactions with the 17 time world champion in NXT prior to his main roster call up.
While speaking to Sportskeeda's Emily Mae, Carmelo was asked about Cena and if he would like to face off with John should the opportunity arise.
"Absolutely. John Cena like I said when I was a kid, superhero You know what I mean, to all of us, and it would be a dream come true. But now we're on the same level as far as we both work for the WWE. We're both on the main roster and now he's an enemy, now he's a threat, now he's the opposition. So all that fandom goes completely out the window. John Cena, actually I can see you and I will see you either tomorrow or one day in the future."
