Becky Lynch will get her one-on-one opportunity against Charlotte Flair at Hell in a Cell.
After weeks of back-and-forth, the match was made official Tuesday night on SmackDown.
The good friends, better enemies rivalry kicked into high gear at SummerSlam when Charlotte won the SmackDown Women's Title in a triple threat match that also included Carmella. Charlotte broke up the dis-arm-her, hitting natural selection on Lynch for the pin. Following the bout, Lynch attacked the new champion. That Tuesday on SmackDown, the two had to be separated by the women's roster before things got completely out of hand.
Last Tuesday, after Charlotte defended the Women's Title against Carmella, Lynch once again laid waste to her former best friend. Lynch issued the challenge for Hell in a Cell while standing over Charlotte's prone body. The two have been exchanging pleasantries this week on social media, alluding to a potential match inside the Cell.
Fightful will provide live coverage of WWE Hell in a Cell on Sept. 16.
