Chelsea Green returned to NXT on the April 30 episode, as she was revealed as the next challenger for Roxanne Perez's NXT Women's Championship. On the May 7 episode of WWE NXT, Green bonded with Arianna Grace in a backstage segment. Grace then lost to Michin, while Green unsuccessfully challenged Perez for the NXT Women's Championship.
In an NXT Exclusive, Chelsea Green and Arianna Grace cried together and regrouped after their losses.
Arianna Grace: You did so good.
Chelsea Green: No, you did so good.
AG: You think so?
CG: You’re so pretty.
AG: You’re so pretty.
CG: We’re both so pretty. We’re so pretty, and we’re so good, and we’re winners.
AG: We won.
CG: We’re winners.
AG: They cheated. It’s not fair.
CG: You know what? We’re rich, and we’re sparkly…
AG: Better than most people, I think.
They then kept crying for the rest of the video.
