Cody Rhodes and Kenny Omega somewhat reunited outside of the wrestling world.
WWE star Cody Rhodes and Kenny Omega both appear in the Netflix series 'Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix'. The animated series, which is inspired by 'Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon', premiered on Netflix on October 19. Omega and Rhodes both voice themselves in the show; they play wrestlers who compete for the Eden Wrestling Federation.
Omega took to Twitter to comment on the show's positive reviews and stated that 'Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix' is a fun ride. He also teased that fans might see one of his old friends make an appearance as well.

Omega and Rhodes are two of the founders of AEW, and they were Executive Vice Presidents in the company's early years. Omega, along with Matt and Nick Jackson, remains an EVP in AEW, and he is still one of the company's top stars. Rhodes left AEW in February 2022 and returned to WWE. He has been featrued with the company ever since.
